That means it’s the perfect time to start planning those class trips! Thinking of new class trip ideas can be a challenge, so here are some fresh ideas that your class can enjoy from a trip to Quassy Amusement & Waterpark.
Elementary options
You may already know that Quassy is tons of fun, but did you know that Quassy also offers lots of learning opportunities? When you schedule an educational fieldtrip to Quassy, your class gets access to our It’s Elementary worksheet which contains math and spelling challenges geared toward elementary students! Quassy also offers on-site educational guided and self-guided tours so that students of different levels can learn about physics basics, math, spelling, and history.
More for Middle Grades
Quassy also offers entertainment and education for middle school students. Classes can get the Fun With Physics booklet that offer students the opportunity to learn while they see the rides in action! Extracurricular Groups
All the Quassy fun isn't limited to school groups! Recreational activity groups like dance or cheer teams, scout troops, martial artists, student musicians and bands can join in by booking group trips, or by participating in one of our special event days. Another advantage of planning school trips in advance for May and June is that students can also enjoy our special event days throughout May and June:
· Dance Day, May 6th: Enjoy dance performances throughout the day from local and area schools at the Carousel Theater stage!
· Scout Day. May 13th: Scout troops and family members get pre-sale discounts on all-day ride passes!
· Martial Arts Day, May 21st: See regional karate and martial arts schools/studios present demonstrations at the Carousel Theater stage during park hours 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
· June 3rd: School Music Festival- Catch performances by local and area students at the Carousel Theater starting at 11 a.m.
· June 7th: Homeschool Day: This ticketed event includes rides, waterpark, lunch and educational programs!
